Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience working in distributed organizations and managing ambiguity.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in negotiating and finalizing agreements.
- Proven track record of success in partner management and business development.
- Ability to scale effectively across a large and highly distributed organization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, reflecting a nuanced approach to diverse audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
About the job
The Knowledge and Information (K&I) Partnerships team is responsible for negotiating and managing partnerships that help build, differentiate, and scale Google's products across Ads, Search, Gemini, Social Impact, Geo, Real World Journeys, Commerce, and Research and Core. The team's mission is to create healthy ecosystems that bring sustainable value to Google by building product partnerships that enable cohesive, helpful, and inclusive user journeys.
The Real World Journeys Partnerships team is responsible for business development and managing partnerships in EMEA across multiple products that help users with their search journeys for going out experiences (e.g., food, things to do, events), getting there (e.g., flights, transport) and lodging (e.g., hotels, vacation rentals) among others.
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with multiple high-stakes partners as a key contributor to Real World Journeys product goals.
- Executing Go-to-Market (GTM) plans with ambitious goals to establish new products in EMEA by establishing and signing new partnerships.
- Drive partner experience to ensure agreement integration, which includes negotiating and finalizing contracts, executing on account plans, pitching to partners, resolving partner issues, and advocating on behalf of the partner.
- Influence across the team and with Product, Engineering, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to align resources and direction for go-to-market strategy and/or partner initiatives.
- Drive partner strategy, including new partner and opportunity prospecting, conducting partner/industry research, and collaborating on product strategy.
