Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: On-Premise Infrastructure, Storage, Compute, Networking, Cloud infrastructure, SaaS, big data, security and privacy, development and operations, or artificial intelligence/machine learning.
- 5 years of experience driving product ideas, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, or Marketing.
- Ability to achieve strategic goals and evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.

Google’s ML, Systems and Cloud AI (MSCA) organization builds the technical foundation behind Google’s products as well as for Google Cloud’s compute and AI/ML offerings. The team manages the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. The COSMIC Product Team, within FluidML delivers resource life-cycle management solutions which provide insights and automation for infrastructure capacity management.
The team focuses on optimizing capacity planning and resource consumption so customers can manage resources efficiently lowering the cost for Google.

Responsibilities
- Identify strategic opportunities through data analysis, customer engagement and reasoning about industry trends on what problems may be presented in the near future.
- Prepare executive reports (e.g., slides, documents) to present investment opportunities which address significant savings the team can pursue.
- Build a product roadmap to clearly illustrate to the Engineering, ODS, and other partner teams what needs to be built, in what order, to address the opportunities.
- Write PRDs to articulate the problem, high-level solution, and detailed requirements necessary to fulfill a solution to the specific problem.
- Justify investments, and continue rationalizing the teams progress (e.g., savings, updates, etc.) against the business commitments made (e.g., OKRs, etc.).
