Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, business operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in project management, relationship management, and change management.
  • Experience in leadership roles within a technology or media company.
  • Experience executing strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Experience or passion in consumer internet and ecommerce.
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively by presenting data/conclusions in a compelling way.
  • Excellent problem solving and investigative skills, and impeccable business acumen.

About the job

In this role, you will be a key partner to YouTube Asia-Pacific (APAC) Partnerships teams and leadership, helping them to bring our Creator, EMCO (Emerging Products and Communities), and Shopping products to market, and for partners helping to bring their feedback to product teams to ensure it meets the needs of all of our creators and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Product Activation Managers to drive the product go-to-market strategy in APAC for three key verticals/products: Creator, Shopping and Emerging Products and Communities.
  • Provide strategic insight, understanding and leadership for region specific challenges and opportunities for the areas of responsibility
  • Work with internal stakeholders cross-functionally to deliver solutions that meet our business objectives and product adoption goals.
  • Maintain an external market perspective and form an expert opinion on engaged trends, industry challenges, and evolving market needs.
  • Maintain strong relations and collaborate with the global/Americas/Europe, Middle East, and Africa(EMEA) Product Activation counterparts.
