Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in working with marketing agencies.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various stakeholders and teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing data tables and merging disparate data sets to derive relational insights, and proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets).
  • Knowledge of Google advertising offerings.
  • Knowledge of marketing and advertising terminology, concepts, and basic brand communication strategies.
  • Familiarity with media planning and execution tactics within agency-client frameworks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams, prioritize tasks, and work autonomously with limited managerial guidance.
  • Excellent people management and written and verbal communication skills, with effective attention to detail.

About the job

As our Operations Manager, you will manage our day-to-day activities continue to run smoothly and that we are able to track all of our media activities and manage our media agencies in a fast paced, always on environment. You will need to think creatively to solve for problems that inevitably will come up and also be able to grow in ambiguity, maintaining an understanding of how our day to day activity may impact the company at a larger level.

In this role, you will be responsible for problem-solving in creative ways, growing in ambiguity, and understanding how our daily activities impact the broader company objectives. With a proven track record in operational excellence, you bring a blend of optimism, adaptability, and strategic thinking to the table.

Responsibilities

  • Work with APAC Operations team and coordinate with the global Google Media team to ensure we are operating at maximum efficiency.
  • Engage our media agencies to ensure their day-to-day work is flawless and help them go beyond quick fixes to long term forward thinking solutions.
  • Be responsible for maintaining and improving existing operational processes, from the prioritization and review of all media campaign requests, through to timings, media budget approvals and media plan sign off across APAC.
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, PR, and Compliance to ensure our strategic efforts and priorities are aligned within our marketing efforts.
  • Manage day to day media operations requests such as quarterly scoping, PO management, performance reporting.
