Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
- 6 years of experience in full-stack software development and system design.
- Experience with backend languages (e.g. Java, Python, or C++).
- Experience working with database technologies (e.g. SQL, NoSQL).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with ETL pipelines, distributed computing systems and Big Data.
- Experience working with systems for collaborative code reviews, version control, continuous integration and automated testing.
- Experience with ML solution development.
- Passion for engineering excellence and experience with unit testing, agile project development, and bug and change management systems.

Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy scalable enterprise software for business teams in YouTube.
- Write and review technical documents, including design, development, revision documents and review code in compiled or scripted languages.
- Collaborate with product leads, partner technology managers, and other software engineers to enhance core product using standard and Google-specific software development tools.
- Ensure that all technical solutions are designed in a way that enable other Engineering and Operations teams to easily access and utilize.
- Develop automated tests to support solutions and proactively monitor system performance/capacity and system health.
