Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of experience in business development of new ventures or first of a kind partnerships
- 5 years of experience in people management
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree
- 15 years of experience in personal health and health industries (e.g., pharmaceuticals, payers, healthcare services, public sector health administration, digital health, etc.)
- Experience operating within and leading cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, highly entrepreneurial, creative, open-minded, persistent, collaborative, and ability to quickly learn new technologies
- Excellent people and communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial and product value points, with a high level of comfort escalating key deal issues to senior management
- Proven track record of executing impactful deals in the healthcare space

This role supports our Platform and Devices business, which provides consumer-facing Google hardware and software through our branded products and our Health Platform, powered by Android. Google Health’s mission is to help make the world healthier.
As the Director, Platforms and Devices Health and AI Partnerships, you will lead a team of business development professionals to grow the breadth and depth of Google’s Consumer Health Ecosystem and first-party solutions.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Business Development managers in initiatives with global and regional health industry partners, unique dataset providers to support the Google health platform, and facilitated via the HealthConnect technology. Requires travel to London at least 3-4x/year.
- Partner on Health Research and verification for device sensors critical to enable new Health AI use cases. Drive partnerships to enable Health LLM training towards new Health Assistant use cases, and support the distribution of health devices and Health AI with a variety of partner types.
- Evaluate new business opportunities and build partnerships strategy and strategic business plans. Pitch to internal and external partners and structure complex agreements in highly regulated environments.
- Manage partner relationships globally to launch agreements in collaboration with senior partner executives, and cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, UX, Legal, Policy, Finance.
