This role is exclusively for people who have/or are in the process of applying for a government-issued disability certificate.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with Databases, Web Technologies, Machine Learning, AI or Cloud Foundations (e.g. cloud computing) through certifications, internships, coursework, or relevant practical experience.
  • Experience in customer service, communication, or leadership.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently to collaborate with colleagues and complete tasks and projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing programs/scripts in C++, Java, Python, SQL or experience in infrastructure/system administration.
  • Experience building or troubleshooting websites or web applications using web technologies (e.g., HTTP(S), JavaScript, APIs, TCP/IP, DNS).
  • Experience in systems software and algorithms, working with Linux/Unix. Experience in database design and SQL query construction.
  • Experience leading entrepreneurial efforts, outreach within organizations, and/or in project/product/program management.
  • Ability to adapt your message to stakeholders and present technical materials. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, or troubleshooting skills.

About the job

The gReach Learner Program is a paid upskilling program for recent university graduates and early-career industry candidates with disabilities where participants will receive on-the-job-training and work on a range of projects for one year. The goal of the gReach program is to provide participants from underrepresented groups with the opportunity to grow their career as professionals.

We welcome individuals who are willing to grow as professionals through the learning experience at Google. To get familiar with Google’s tools, technology, and culture, you'll acquire fundamental and on-the-job training experience, and be assigned to a role. As a gReach Associate, you'll work on one large project, complete smaller projects, or do the day-to-day work to support the business. You will closely work with team members who will help identify project goals. You'll contribute to the business, collaborate with others, and have the opportunity to add long-lasting value beyond the conclusion of the gReach program.

Responsibilities

  • Help build creative solutions to challenging customer needs using Google Cloud. Improve product feature offerings by providing customer feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
  • Collaborate with customers and other Googlers to manage and drive successful adoption of Google Cloud. Help develop recommendations for solution architectures and consulting services.
  • Guide customers through the entire innovation lifecycle, building strategic roadmaps and driving achievement of key milestones.
  • Solve customers' operational issues through problem solving and technical troubleshooting, while working with internal teams to drive resolution. Help customers get answers to product questions.
