Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in a Product Management, Systems Architecture, or a Technology Strategy role.
  • Experience driving product ideas, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.
  • Experience working on developer tools or open source projects.
  • Experience driving results in collaborative and cross-functional environments.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

The Cloud Onboarding and Product Led Growth team is focused on accelerating product-led adoption and expanded usage of Google Cloud. The organization is part of the Application Ecosystem whose purpose is to engage the developer community, enable customers to onboard with a consistent experience, connect foundational services across Google Cloud Platfor (GCP), and accelerate customers’ digital transformation journeys.

The team's goal is to enable prospects and customers regardless of cloud knowledge to onboard GCP, provide a transition from acquisition, to conversion, and expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with customers to understand their needs and translate them into product requirements.
  • Develop strategies and product definitions for Cloud Setup for Google Cloud.
  • Launch features that support Google Cloud's goal to make it easy for organizations to create and expand a technical, security, and access control foundation on Google Cloud.
  • Launch features to enable customers in highly-regulated industries to be successful on Google Cloud.
  • Drive adoption and business growth by partnering with Customer Engineers, Outbound Product Managers, Marketing Managers, Solution Managers, and Developer Relations to promote the capabilities of Cloud Setup.
