Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting in the aviation or travel industry.
- 8 years of experience managing a portfolio of partners to achieve product objectives, operational efficiency and partner satisfaction targets.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or other advanced degree.
- Experience managing partnerships.
- Ability to identify business opportunities, assess business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
- Ability to understand the details of a technical and complex area like contrails and flights product on top of aviation industry experience.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are point-of-contact for interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you will build and maintain strategic relationships with many of our partners for Google Flights and Contrails Avoidance. You will manage existing partnerships, launch new relationships, and drive new business opportunities, resolve business issues, and analyze and track key metrics to identify trends.
This position requires growing through complexity in very ambiguous and early stage product development as well as growing one of the flagship verticals of Google, having excellent organizational, partner and project management, analysis, stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
Responsibilities
- Manage C-level relationships to help Google achieve significant results, grow our most successful Real World Journeys (RWJ) vertical (flights) and scale our biggest sustainability (contrails avoidance).
- Adopt Google’s contrails avoidance AI powered technology.
- Collaborate with the critical players in the industry to lead the changes in the Aviation industry especially contrails avoidance.
- Ensure the quality and comprehensiveness of Google flights product which is one of the flagship products of Google and one of the big bets of 2025.
- Foster relationship with Priority partners, primarily biggest EMEA airlines such as Lufthansa, EasyJet, AFKL, IAG, Ryanair, eTraveli.
