Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in sales, sales operation, customer support, marketing, digital advertising, business development, or consulting.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in areas like marketing, sales or consulting sales.
  • Ability to be detail oriented and quickly complete a large volume of high-quality work.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, people management, and teamwork skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently in order to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

About the job

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

The gReach Program is a 12 months paid upskilling program for industry professionals with disabilities where participants will receive on-the-job-training and work on a range of projects. The goal of the gReach program is to provide participants from underrepresented groups with the opportunity to grow their career as professionals.

The Lead Generation Sub-Sector is a dynamic team focused on delivering Google Ads solutions to clients across diverse industries, including travel, career, life events, education, and more. We are passionate about driving client success through data-driven strategies and innovative approaches.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and implement strategies to improve business productivity.
  • Facilitate effective information flow and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and agencies through supporting business activity.
  • Develop scalable and versatile proposals applicable across the organization.
  • Provide direct sales support to specific key clients.
