Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 year of experience working in digital content/media, sales, business development, or a consultative role.
- Ability to communicate in English and Hindi fluently to collaborate with partners in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in the creator, video, media, or entertainment industry.
- Experience in an external-facing customer interaction role along with customer support, business, or relationship development.
- Ability to influence and communicate at all levels of an organization, as well as cross-functionally and externally.
- Excellent problem-solving, presentation planning and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Interest in, or willingness to learn, technological concepts, financial models, and education/news policies, copyright etc.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you interact with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
As a Strategic Partner Manager of Scaled Partnerships Team for YouTube Creator vertical, you will have the opportunity to create long-lasting relationships with our partners, to renew existing partnerships, and to enhance potential opportunities. You will cultivate these existing partnerships to make sure they can leveragethe YouTube's evolving suite of offerings. You will participate in content strategy planning, facilitate ongoing business and operational processes, help manage the operational components of strategic partner campaigns, identify and deliver business growth opportunities and obtain approvals and terms for various partner-related opportunities.
You will be negotiating content-licensing agreements with partners as you are working cross-functionally with colleagues in Product, Engineering, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Legal to ensure our partners are positioned for success and our users enjoy the best experience possible. You should also expect to initiate and manage day-to-day operations and partner relationships, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests, troubleshooting partner systems around reporting, content management and Content ID, and creating periodic reports (external and internal) on partner performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage project initiatives to grow emerging creators including workshops, events and initiatives. Manage and grow a portfolio of YouTube creators/media companies.
- Manage a portfolio of creators/ media company accounts towards strategic goals, including improving watch time hours, platform engagement, audience growth, community interaction and growth by developing business plans.
- Measure overall creator/ media company performance.Streamline operational workflows and process improvements. Develop and maintain relationships with key partners. Manage day-to-day partnership activities with a focus on existing performance growth, and advocate internally on behalf of partners.
- Identify demand for regional content, acquire and onboard new partners. Define, model, execute and analyze key distribution performance metrics and recommend channel improvements to partners.
- Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Finance and Legal.
