Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with executive-level engagement as a business, operational, and strategic thought partner.
- Experience in Consulting, Data or Finance.
- Experience with data dash-boards, data presentation and delivering executive reviews.
- Ability to understand and manipulate data and apply this to inform operational and strategic initiatives, with ability to bring insights together for EMEA gTech Ads leadership.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, and the ability to take topics and create simple narratives for different audiences.
About the job
As an EMEA Strategy and Operations Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with gTech leadership to identify, design and implement opportunities to drive business growth and continuous improvement.
You will have a portfolio of strategic projects and ongoing operations responsibilities, and be empowered to partner with teams across the business and other Go-to-Market (GTM) teams to deliver on the businesses most important priorities and enable the gTech organization. You will have the opportunity to work on a breadth of topics in gTech Strategy Operations (gSO) and get exposure to several aspects of the business. You will support teams in making strategic decisions and achieving their business objectives.
You will work on an ongoing EMEA operations mandate with additional EMEA project support based on capacity, prioritised on business impact and need.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
Responsibilities
- Support the EMEA gtech ads business partnering with one geographic market team Director.
- Define, drive and land gTech ads Operational strategy for region and market teams working to represent all of gTech Ads to Large Customer Sales (LCS) and LCS GTM.
- Define project scope, focus areas, analysis needed to uncover opportunities and deliver stakeholder alignment and consensus to deliver business impact.
- Work with cross functional stakeholders to deliver on project priorities, drive alignment and enable decision making.
- Communicate findings to EMEA leadership in the form of executive-ready presentations and facilitation of strategy topics across functional teams.
