Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
- Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to interact with local clients and stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience creating online marketing and advertising strategies for performance focused clients (e.g., scalable implementation plans).
- Knowledge of Google Ads Product (e.g., Search, Google Display Ads, Performance Max, VAC).
- Ability to influence and build solid relationships with internal/external, identify suitable business opportunities and build appropriate solutions to benefit customers and Google.
- Excellent attention to detail and data driven skills, with the ability to manage projects, execution, and delivery.
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and storytelling skills, with impeccable business judgment.

As a Shopping/Performance Max Product Specialist, your key responsibility will be to drive business development with our clients by optimizing and developing account opportunities and implementing solutions. You will manage the execution and delivery of complex Shopping/Performance Max and other related non-app campaigns, ensuring the performance meets customers' Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
Responsibilities
- Grow Google Shopping/Performance Max with other non-app media products shared against other competitors at retail accounts.
- Manage the translation of the Shopping/Performance Max and other non-app business plans into quarterly actions like NAL creation, scalable initiatives, and upskill activities.
- Co-define and execute product adoption OKRs (key focus) with Sales teams and partners.
- Consult with clients to make a decision on search marketing and develop initiatives (e.g., playbook, market enablements, workshops and external publications) to drive search product adoption metrics.
- Identify gaps in products and build business cases and solutions based on advertiser needs. Synthesize multiple viewpoints and communicate the China export retail perspective for the product features and solutions necessary to drive long-term success of our Large Customer Sales (LCS) advertisers, by shaping product roadmap with product managers/engineers in Mountain View.
