Minimum qualifications:
- Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, or Controls/Automation experience in an industrial/commercial environment
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in mission critical systems operations (e.g., power generation, data center, refinery, chip fabrication, chemical processing, or other high consequence environments).
- Experience in collaborating with other business units to meet company goals and standards.
- Experience in operations and maintenance of electrical, control systems, and mechanical systems in a data center environment.
- Ability to develop and grow team members through coaching, mentoring, and training.

As a Data Center Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team in 24/7 Data Center operations. You will be responsible for working towards SLAs with internal teams on uptime, efficiencies and cost. You will grow the campus team to meet the needs of the business, and leverage technical talent across the campus and identify hiring needs for regional data centers. You ensure that environmental and safety standards are consistently met, identifying problems and making repairs. In emergency situations or abnormal conditions, you manage data center performance issues and outages to minimize the recovery time from failures.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $99,000-$145,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Lead a team, set and communicate team priorities that support organizational goals. Meet regularly to discuss performance and development, and provide feedback and coaching.
- Ensure team members are following work processes and complying with guidelines and all sites are following facility, maintenance, and standard programs, while making recommendations for data center improvements.
- Monitor data center systems operation, control site activities to minimize risk, and respond effectively to any excursions or emergency procedures.
- Develop strategies to improve efficiency, minimize cost, and reduce environmental impact, validate and improve processes and procedures for equipment operations, and perform and analyze compliance checks for data centers globally.
- Collaborate with partner teams and project leads to set and implement strategies.
