Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in program management, client services or management consulting.
  • 10 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • 7 years of experience in external contingent workforce solutions and optimizing operational performance through supplier engagement practices.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering enterprise digital transformation projects to customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's or MBA degree.
  • Experience with supplier engagement (SRM), continuous improvement, supply chain management, contract management, and related areas.
  • Experience in strategy, supply chain, or procurement of contingent workforce solutions.
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams in supplier engagement activities.
  • Ability to distill, prioritize, and present complex business analysis and recommendations at executive levels.

gTech’s Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) team enables Product Areas (PAs) to effectively and efficiently scale their outsourced operations while managing risk. Google's goal is to enable businesses to make informed decisions to put the right talent in the right locations. Google's partnership with teams aims to provide an excellent user experience and minimizes administrative burden throughout the extended workforce process.

In this role, you will be a strategic, cross-functional thinkers that understand product area needs including risks and operational constraints and rethink Extended Workforce Solution's solution within vertical teams. Additionally, you will incubate, pilot, and roll-out large-scale transformations and leads change management across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and use data to manage supplier relationships across Alphabet which are targeted at encouraging and enhancing better contingent workforce management and practices.
  • Manage large stakeholder groups to ensure alignment across our supplier engagement activities.
  • Enhance customer Product Areas (PA) experience when working with Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) and demonstrae a cohesive approach to supplier engagement (at above contract levels).
  • Contribute to the development of the xWS supplier engagement strategy and delivery approach. Pressure test different ways of working and create outside of the box solutions that will change the way Alphabet manages the extended workforce space
  • Work with customers PAs and suppliers to drive exceptional supplier engagement practices.
