Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 9 years of experience gathering technical and financial data to promote products, services, and solutions
  • 8 years of experience using the sales lifecycle to drive business, and analyzing and applying industry, market, and organizational information to strategies/plans
  • 6 years of experience working in a customer-facing role
  • 4 years of experience in a people management, supervision or team leadership role
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience delivering outstanding business results and driving operational aptitude across teams
  • Experience in sales, working towards quarterly goals, and owning C-level client relationships
  • Experience in a media sales environment, with knowledge of advertising solutions and media landscape, both online and offline
  • Understanding of Google products with the ability to coach team members on how to position and promote these products
  • Ability to work comfortably with ambiguity and operate in a complex environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize results, draw conclusions and convert them into business opportunities

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build strong businesses and brands. Our customers are operating and competing in a globalized world, which implies opportunities yet with a number of issues. Google’s global reach and in-depth market knowledge uniquely position us to support our advertisers along the various steps of their international growth journey. The International Growth Team is a network of experts in international expansion strategies and success factors. Export Consultants proactively identify growth opportunities by leveraging powerful data and their global network, allowing them to act as trusted advisors and partners to our customers. From strategic insights, identifying the right target markets, to setting them up for success via operational advisory and support, they help these advertisers reach and exceed their international ambitions.

In this role, you will lead and coach a team that uses consultative sales skills in understanding our customers needs. You will partner directly with customers to unlock new relationships and support the team to deliver solutions that grow customers international business with Google. You will work with the sales leadership team to set tactical objectives for the book of business and design and drive initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of International Growth Consultants, guiding them to deliver on quarterly business goals and longer term objectives.
  • Coach team members on opportunity identification and how to position and promote Google solutions to help customers achieve the business goals.
  • Develop tactical international growth plans for relevant sectors and win stakeholders over to activate them.
  • Define the teams long-term strategy, leading the annual business planning process, interacting with market, regional and global executive stakeholders and cross-functional leaders to obtain buy-in and secure resources.
