Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in program or project management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in managing matters and cases, along with multiple stakeholders under timelines, such as trial or hearing preparation.
- Experience supporting litigation, trials or responding to regulatory inquiries.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage through influence, while handling multiple timelines and projects.
- Ability to make connections across teams and issues, along with excellent critical thinking skills.
About the job
As a Program Manager in the Regulatory PMO you will work with members of Regulatory Affairs and will be the project manager in partnership with counsel, to coordinate how Google responds to inquiries and investigations by government and regulatory agencies worldwide. You will also partner with teams across Google and Alphabet’s Legal, Public Policy, Finance and product areas to support the handling of some of the most important issues for the company.Responsibilities
- Partner with legal counsel, product teams and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver tasks, share information and implement project management principles upon matters (including litigation, internal investigations and regulatory requests).
- Identify opportunities for process improvement initiatives and knowledge management projects and help develop and socialize practices.
- Identify issues and field escalations to stakeholders, and assist them by providing internal recommendations.
- Facilitate global, cross-functional working groups and influencing a broad range of stakeholders including executives.
- Facilitate decision making while also managing timelines.
