Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role overseeing projects, with 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in data centers, networking or scale operations.
- Experience in designing and implementing scale, real-time software systems.
- Experience in Network Test Automation, Networking Protocols, and Network Troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
- Lead the team for managing engineers who function as a 'virtual device vendor' for Google Global Networks.
- Background in building performing teams.
- Responsible for hiring, coaching, and supporting leaders within the team.
- Motivate the team, foster a sense of ownership, define the mission, and rally the team to support it.
- Oversee networking technology, software development lifecycle, and software and hardware testing and validation at scale.
