Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.
- Experience working with clients in a consulting or advisory role.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders.
- Experience analyzing quantitative or qualitative data to inform decision-making.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in promoting cloud computing technologies to organizations across geographies and functions.
- Proficiency in one or more foreign languages.
- Ability to understand and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud or Information Technology (IT) space.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
- Passion for international business, languages, and cultures.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. The Global Business Strategy (GBS) team helps make Google's complex business organization run smoothly. The group drives core planning activities and develops frameworks to integrate global business strategies across the Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships organizations. Experts in both Google’s go to market organization and the industries where we compete, they drive strategic and operational improvements while working closely with Senior Leadership on a range of critical initiatives and projects. The GBS team is at the forefront of addressing the Business organization’s most strategic priorities, reporting and working directly for Google's Chief Business Officer.
Responsibilities
- Be the localization expert and guide businesses in adapting their products, services, messaging, and assets to diverse cultural contexts. Advocate linguistic nuance, cultural sensitivity, and market-specific trends to drive global engagement.
- Unlock internationalization to drive global growth consult with clients to develop and implement comprehensive internationalization strategies that drive global growth. Analyze their digital assets (e.g., websites, apps, creatives) and make recommendations or provide solutions to ensure seamless, impactful cross-border experiences, enhancing user experience and maximizing business generation in new and existing markets.
- Shape the future of localization, stay ahead of the curve, research industry trends, participants landscape, and emerging technologies, and share your proficiency through leadership initiatives.
- Build strong partnerships, foster collaboration between clients, business teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on localization goals.
