Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • 10 years of experience in executive roles.
  • Experience managing a sales/business development organization to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Experience with information technology and computer systems that support enterprise goals, including cloud technologies and machine learning.
  • Experience establishing global executive/C-suite relationships and building a reputation within the Insurance and Financial Services ecosystem.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience operating in a global role/on a global scale.
  • Experience with digital transformation within a major insurance organization as an executive and in consulting.

As the Director, Market Leader for Insurance, you will coordinate a cross-functional global team to meet and exceed challenging growth goals. Displaying a “customer first” orientation, you will fully understand the value of Google’s solutions in the enterprise space, and bring to bear a strong operational approach.

In this role, you will understand the Insurance industry from both the technology and business side and help companies achieve digital transformation. You will comfortably and effectively interface with C-level executives while also working on the details of large projects. You will run the business autonomously while leveraging connections to the broader organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$363,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own the Insurance Industry strategy and roadmap jointly with Industry Engineering lead and Industry Sales lead, coordinate the cross-functional Industry team, and build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the Insurance ecosystem.
  • Drive adoption of Google Cloud's solutions across the Insurance ecosystem. Partner with other Google Cloud teams to ensure a cohesive and aligned approach to sales and marketing.
  • Represent Google Cloud at industry events and conferences, including global thought leadership events and publications.
  • Further evolution of a cross-functional industry operating model.
  • Manage ISV and Tech Partnership relationships and acquisitions, and provide quality assurance of SI Enablement.
