Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in security analysis and security assessment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in security testing, authentication, access controls and privacy.
- Knowledge of public and private cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and scalable, performant data systems.
- Knowledge of software development practices in the Cloud Security domain.

Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to building security tools and infrastructure to analyze, deploy, and manage security controls.
- Make contributions to secure, reliable, scalable, perfomant architecture, design, and development for security tooling for cloud systems.
- Partner with Security Engineering Managers, Security Engineers, and other partner teams to prioritize software development efforts in support of a secure cloud systems ecosystem.
- Represent Security of Cloud System interests to other Software Engineering teams.
