Security Engineer III, Google Cloud Business Platforms

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 4 years of experience in security analysis and security assessment.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in security testing, authentication, access controls and privacy.
  
• Knowledge of public and private cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and scalable, performant data systems.
  
• Knowledge of software development practices in the Cloud Security domain.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building security tools and infrastructure to analyze, deploy, and manage security controls.
• Make contributions to secure, reliable, scalable, perfomant architecture, design, and development for security tooling for cloud systems.
• Partner with Security Engineering Managers, Security Engineers, and other partner teams to prioritize software development efforts in support of a secure cloud systems ecosystem.
• Represent Security of Cloud System interests to other Software Engineering teams.
