Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • Experience with Data Science and Data Analytics.
  • Experience with data technologies and cloud platforms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 10 years of experience in product management, with a focus on data-driven products or AI/ML.
  • Experience with Ad Quality and Search Quality.
  • Experience with various data types and formats, including structured and unstructured data.
  • Knowledge of data quality concepts, challenges, and best practices.

As a Group Product Manager for Data Quality, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of AI by defining and delivering products that ensure models are trained on the data. You will be responsible for the product life-cycle, from strategy and ideation to launch and iteration, with a focus on solving data quality challenges at scale.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Define ideas for data quality within the AI Data team and across Google.
  • Develop product strategy and roadmap for addressing data quality challenges across various AI applications, with a focus on Gemini.
  • Identify and prioritize key product opportunities with both Google and external customers based on user needs, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering, research, and design teams to build and launch innovative data quality products.
  • Conduct market research, customer analysis, and competitive analysis to inform product decisions, and translate user needs and business requirements into product specifications and use cases.
