Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
  • Experience using or building Media Mix Models (MMM).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with a product management team to create and execute a complementary partnership strategy.
  • Experience partnering with ad measurement vendors, measurement focused agencies or ad measurement focused consultancies.
  • Understanding of the Google Ads business and the ecosystem of measurement partners to these products.
  • Demonstrated track record of strategic thinking and a growth mindset.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The Mission of the Ad Impact Measurement Partnerships Team is to prove Return on Investment (ROI) to brand advertisers via partnerships that enable privacy-safe and accurate outcomes measurement on Google media. We work with the product and cross-functional teams to help build first-party and third-party Measurement Solutions in Media Mix Models (MMMs), Sales Lift and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) Measurement via Product Enabling Partnerships. Our team negotiates agreements, manages strategic industry relationships and ensures that the partnerships and programs that serve our measurement products deliver business outcomes for Google Ads.

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you will work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Global Product Strategy, Marketing and Legal teams to develop strategy, identify partners, and create strategic partnerships in support of meridian partners and the largest media mix modeling companies, agencies and consultancies in the world. You will be creative, open-minded, and persistent in order to interact with internal and external clients. You will participate in cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and lead key negotiations with our partners.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $82,500-$121,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the training, certification and contractual commitments of Certified Google Meridian Partners.
  • Maintain a database to diagnose the impact of the Google Meridian Partnership Program.
  • Manage relationships with the executive teams at our largest global partners, ensuring that product roadmaps are aligned, research engagements are properly scoped and contracted, and advertiser engagements are set to run on time, within agreed parameters and at the scale intended.
  • Report to Google leadership on the performance of Google Media within the Meridian Program and via third-party Media Mix Model Measurement.
  • Troubleshoot partner issues, acting as the first point of contact at Google.
