Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • Experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: compute architecture, data center infrastructure, CPU (x86/Arm) and I/O technologies, Cloud Infrastructure, Storage.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
  • 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • 2 years of experience in software development or engineering.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 1 year of experience in technical leadership.

Google Compute Engine (GCE) is focused on bringing the latest in Compute infrastructure and services to applications in the cloud, and delivering new and innovative solutions to the market in high growth areas such as AI, ML, and high performance computing.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Own core parts of the compute portfolio, driving consumption products and business generation strategies.
  • Develop business cases for new compute product concepts, defining requirements and working with customers to unlock new capabilities.
  • Develop product requirements, work with engineering, prioritize and launch core functionality in the compute portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Storage, Networking, Google Kubernetes Engine, and other Google Cloud services teams to define and execute on the long-term roadmap.
  • Represent product and roadmap at customer and field events.
