Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree.
  • Experience in advising senior leaders on strategy, organization, and operations topics.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems within a given project scope, build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, and quantitative modeling skills, with the ability to distill insights from data and present actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, people management and presentation skills.

About the job

Google’s Knowledge and Information (K&I) Partnerships organization works with a range of external partners to help build Google products through product-enabling relationships (e.g., data licensing, content partnerships, API/platform integrations, and technology licensing).

In this role, you will play a critical role in helping drive strategy and execution for K&I Partnerships. You will focus on delivering thought leadership, operational and executive level narratives to help advance K&I and Google’s product mission. You will work directly with K&I leaders on priority topics across all product areas and help the global organization identify, plan for, and execute against their priorities.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Strategy and operations partner for the Research and Core (R&C) Partnerships organization with a focus on Research and Core.
  • Deliver thought leadership and strategic guidance on R&C related topics.
  • Identify business challenges and opportunities that are facing R&C, develop perspective and drive recommendations forward while getting cross-functional (XFN) buy-in.
  • Manage several initiatives concurrently, interfacing with multiple stakeholders within Google Products and across Google.
  • Direct and conduct market analyses, solve, operational problems and identify key insights relevant for the global teams.
