Minimum qualifications:

- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical and developer products from conception to launch.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., strategic marketing, business operations, consulting).
- 4 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
- 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.
- Experience in AI modeling, training dataset generation, developer products/tools, infrastructure and platforms.

In this role, you will empower Search developers with the platform capabilities and products needed to rapidly innovate and launch groundbreaking AI-powered search experiences, ensuring Google remains the leading destination for search excellence.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Collaborate extensively cross-functionally (e.g., Product Managers, Engineering, Program management) and cross-organizationally (Infrastructure and platform functions such as ML serving, modeling, logging, UI, etc.) to deliver outstanding results.
- Drive ultra-crisp clarity within Engineering teams about outcomes, requirements, scope, and timelines, so that there is no ambiguity about the goal and how to get there.
- Drive development and secure buy-in for a product direction that identifies, defines, and supports the overall product narrative and direction, achieving an outcome that is greater than the sum of its parts.
- Stay informed of Search's broad product strategy and priorities to ensure the platform team always anticipates and meets customer goals.
- Research industry trends, capabilities, and best practices for AI product development that can be applied to Google Search, and then apply them.
