Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a similar technical role.
- Experience with application development concepts, designing and implementing scalable and reliable application infrastructure solutions.
- Experience managing technology projects within the applications and cloud domains.
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or other technical field.
- Experience with consultative selling involving customer-facing application migrations, architecture and project implementation.
- Experience with common container-based technologies such as GKE, OpenShift, Docker, EKS, AKS, VMware Tanzu, vSphere.
- Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure architectures (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
- Ability to deliver engaging technical presentations to large audiences, with public speaking skills and deep technical expertise.
- Excellent business acumen aligned to strategic IT initiatives like cloud migrations and digital transformation.
About the job
As a Go-to-Market Specialist at Google Cloud, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to bring Google Cloud's innovative solutions to market, driving sales enablement, demand generation, and business engagement across industry sectors. You will build a healthy and progressing business pipeline for our Cloud Runtimes product portfolio, principally Google Kubernetes Engine and Cloud Run. You will design and build the campaigns for high propensity and must-win customers in platform engineering, application estate migrations and scalable application infrastructure. You will work closely with technical experts, the product team, account managers, partners and sales leadership to maintain focus on the right opportunities. You will identify business patterns and blockers that shape our business strategy and product roadmap, bringing insight to leadership.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $202,000-$284,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Design and execute scalable business campaigns to generate pipelines and progressing opportunities for application modernization patterns.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, offering deep expertise and strategic insights in platform engineering, application migrations and scalable infrastructures to address customer challenges and unlock the full potential of Google Cloud.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to shape the future of Google Cloud offerings, incorporating customer insights and staying ahead of industry trends.
- Build strong relationships with customers and partners, ensuring their application workloads grow on Google Cloud through proactive support and continuous optimization.
- Manage multi-channel campaigns to drive solution adoption, and provide feedback to product and solution teams based on market and customer insights to inform product roadmaps and ensure solutions meet evolving customer needs.
