Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
- Experience working with Android.
- Experience working with privacy design patterns and consumer electronics.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
- 2 years of experience leading design projects.
- Experience in iterative design and delivery methodologies within the XR (Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR)/Mixed Reality (MR)) space or Android.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
- Excellent conceptual and strategic thinker with the ability to grow in a rapid-paced, 0-1 environment.

Responsibilities
- Drive XR platform UX capabilities for camera and microphone systems to scale across the device ecosystem, ensuring privacy-first interactions that are intuitive and scalable for users, developers, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners.
- Lead the discovery and ideation for XR-specific privacy indicators and permission models. Create consistent design patterns that adapt to evolving sensor technology, user and bystander expectations.
- Act as a strategic partner to align Product, Engineering, and Privacy/Legal teams on cohesive design strategies. Synthesize complex technical constraints (e.g., sensor limitations, low-latency requirements) into clear, actionable design direction.
- Operate as a thought partner to executive leaders, bringing resolution to complex challenges regarding data transparency and hardware-software compatibility. Use data-informed decisions and deep user empathy to influence long-term product excellence.
