About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

The Ads Marketing team is responsible for bringing new Google Ads advertisers into the franchise. We leverage traditional direct marketing channels, third-party channels, as well as innovative channels and formats to reach prospective advertisers. The team focuses on small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), and plays an important role in Google’s efforts to reach out to and serve the small business community. Our goals are specific and significant quantity and quality of new advertisers, supporting Google’s overall growth.

As the Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving business planning, digital campaign management, internal communications and operations for the team. In this role, you will partner with counterparts in other regions to drive the development of local/regional objectives and key results each quarter, establish worldwide communications excellence, develop a sound operational platform to enable fast and effective scaling of best practices across acquisition channels and countries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Ads marketing strategy to acquire and retain advertisers at scale.
  • Plan, implement and track acquisition/win-back-marketing campaigns.
  • Track and analyze campaign effectiveness to transform learnings into more enhanced marketing strategy and campaign plans.
  • Innovate and develop best practices for Business-to-Business (B2B) advertiser acquisition at Google.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Google to ensure the successful execution of the marketing strategy.
