Successful candidates will be responsible for conducting research and analyzing market trends and information to keep our clients informed and aligned with their strategic goals. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of key market trends in the Healthcare, Biotechnology and Pharma sectors globally.
• Prepare insightful briefings for use internally and by customers based on research and findings.
• Prepare and maintain market maps of key players in various sectors of the healthcare industry.
• Build market sizes for key healthcare sub-sectors and clusters outlined in the HolonIQ health taxonomy.
• Collaborate with the HolonIQ data team to ensure core data are correctly categorized and tagged within the HolonIQ platform.
• Monitor and report on developments in the industry, including potential competitors

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field with at least 3 years of experience in industry/market analysis. Knowledge of Healthcare industry trends, issues, and competitive landscape. Proficient in using data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.

Language and Communication Skills: Excellent command of the english language and strong communication skills required to execute the job effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

Research Skills: Ability to conduct primary and secondary research and analysis of industry-specific and company-specific areas of focus and effectively collect, collate, and interpret information to provide meaningful insights. Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it clearly. The role will require you to draft briefings, build market maps, and build market sizing for various areas of the healthcare industry.

Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data, and identify key thematic trends will be a vital skill for this role. The ability to work independently and collaboratively with the wider team to creatively problem solve and identify solutions that would improve the quality of deliverables.

Time Management: The HolonIQ team work in a fast-paced environment where ensuring all deadlines are achieved within the agreed period is of utmost importance. HolonIQ customers actively use the research provided in their strategy and decision making process.

We offer a hybrid working model, working from our Colombo office in Mireka Tower, Havelock City, or from home upon approval. You will be issued a laptop to be used exclusively for HolonIQ work.

You will receive extensive training and coaching in thematic research, data collection, analysis, preparation, and management and become an expert in Healthcare.

The team you will join is truly global with staff in our New York, London, Sydney, and Colombo offices.

Leave Entitlements

HolonIQ grants 25 days paid leave per year plus statutory religious holidays.

HolonIQ staff are required to work on full moon days falling on weekdays. A day in lieu of every full moon day worked is added to an employees leave entitlement. The same would apply to other statutory holidays; excluding religious holidays.
