How can you make an impact?
In the Sr Medical Education Platform Trainer role, you’ll make an impact by transforming how healthcare is taught across Europe empowering faculty, clinicians, and students to integrate McGraw Hill's digital platforms into their curricula and clinical practice. By designing regional adoption programs, managing strategic partnerships, and turning data insights into action, you'll play a direct role in shaping the future of medical education across the region.
This is a hybrid position based in Madrid, Spain, requiring approximately 50% travel across Europe.
What you will be doing:
- Designing and executing in Spain and Europe-wide onboarding and adoption programs tailored to medical, nursing, and allied health curricula.
- Delivering high impact in person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and curriculum integration consultations for faculty, clinicians, students, and librarians.
- Managing and supporting multiple third-party partners across Europe, ensuring consistent training quality and customer experience aligned with McGraw Hill standards.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, teams to shape regional strategy, support key renewals, and contribute market insights.
- Representing McGraw Hill at conferences, academic meetings, and institutional leadership presentations as a regional expert in medical education engagement.
- Proactively managing client expectations and balancing customer service needs with internal organizational priorities, working closely alongside Sales and Marketing without being a sales role.
We are looking for someone with…
- 4+ years of experience in medical education, digital learning, faculty development, or customer/platform training.
- Professional fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal), with training delivery experience in Spain and across European markets.
- Academic or professional background in health sciences: Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, Allied Health, or Medical Librarianship.
- Strong medical/clinical understanding and hands on experience in a healthcare or clinical education setting.
- Proven training or teaching experience, including designing and delivering programs for complex academic or clinical audiences.
- Strong account management mindset, proactive, skilled at managing multiple stakeholder relationships and expectations across diverse institutions.
- Travel internationally across Europe and Spain.
