The Sr. Medical Education Platform Trainer - APAC plays a strategic role in enabling medical and health sciences institutions across the APAC region to achieve measurable teaching, learning, and clinical outcomes using McGraw Hill’s digital platforms.

This senior-level role not only delivers high-quality training but designs, owns, and scales regional adoption programs, ensuring that faculty, clinicians, students, and librarians integrate digital resources effectively into curriculum, research, and clinical decision-making.

The position partners cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Global Customer Success to shape regional strategy, support key renewals, contribute market insights, and accelerate platform usage. The Senior Trainer represents McGraw Hill as a regional expert in medical education engagement, influencing both internal stakeholders and senior academic leaders.

What you will be doing?

Regional Program Leadership:

  • Design and execute APAC-wide onboarding and adoption programs tailored to medical, nursing, and allied health curricula.
  • Develop scalable training frameworks, campaigns, and learning pathways for faculty, librarians, clinicians, and students.
  • Lead annual regional adoption planning with Sales and Customer Success leadership.

Training & Education Delivery:

  • Deliver high-impact in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and curriculum-integration consultations.
  • Develop advanced training assets (videos, guides, toolkits, microlearning modules) that support faculty development and student success.
  • Represent McGraw Hill at conferences, academic meetings, and institutional leadership presentations.

Advanced Analytics & Reporting:

  • Own regional adoption KPIs and monitor key institution-level usage patterns to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, usage reports, and intervention plans for high-value accounts.
  • Present data-driven recommendations during quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and renewal discussions.

3P Management & Partner Success:

  • Manage, monitor, and support multiple third-party (3P) partners across APAC who handle customer success, engagement, and renewal-related activities.
  • Ensure 3P partners deliver engagement, training quality, and customer experience equivalent to direct McGraw Hill support.
  • Provide ongoing training, guidance, and content updates to partner customer success teams.
  • Review 3P performance data, usage reports, and customer feedback to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and planning sessions with 3P partners to align strategy, targets, and expectations.
  • Serve as the regional point of escalation for partner-supported institutions to ensure consistent, high-level support.

Cross-Functional Influence & Product Feedback:

  • Serve as the APAC liaison to Product and UX teams, providing structured insights from customer interactions, curricula, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop region-specific engagement content and targeted campaigns.
  • Support high-stakes renewal or expansion opportunities by supplying strategic data and training plans.

Dimensions/Complexities:

  • Designs and leads regional programs requiring coordination across Sales, Marketing, CSMs, Product, and Global CS.
  • Engages with senior faculty, deans, clinical educators, and institutional leadership across culturally diverse APAC markets.
  • Exercises high autonomy in managing strategic accounts, training priorities, and data-driven interventions.
  • Expected to represent McGraw Hill in complex academic and clinical environments with credibility and expertise.
  • Coordinates and manages multiple 3P partner teams responsible for customer success and engagement across diverse APAC markets.

What you need to be considered:

  • 5-7 years of experience in medical education, digital learning, faculty development, or customer training.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver training programs for complex academic or clinical audiences.
  • Strong analytic skills with experience interpreting usage data and shaping adoption strategy.
  • Professional English and Mandarin fluency (written and verbal).
  • Ability to travel internationally across APAC and beyond.
  • Academic or professional background in health sciences(Medicine,Nursing, Pharmacy,Public Health,Biomedical Sciences,Allied Health,Medical Librarianship, etc.)
  • Strong account management mindset, proactive, skilled at managing multiple stakeholder relationships and expectations across diverse institutions.
  • Experience managing external partners, distributors, or third-party vendors.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a university, hospital, medical school, or professional medical association.
  • Familiarity with LMS workflows, LTI integrations, or digital resource adoption in higher education.

Digital Skills/Capabilities:

  • Ability to create professional learning content (videos, microlearning, guides).
  • Strong command of digital platforms, data dashboards, analytics tools, and CRM/CS systems.
  • Skilled in translating data insights into actionable adoption strategies for customers.
