Who You'll Work With

You'll work in our Finance Global Operations Shared Services Center based in Chennai or Bengaluru and will be a part of the Post-Payment Audit team. This team performs investigation into the expenses of firm members.

What You'll Do

You'll work with a team of expense auditors and investigators on finance-related issues and perform audits on individuals whose name figures in fraud detection tools, ad hoc requests, and non-compliance lists.
You'll scrutinize supporting documentation like receipts and mail, analyze reports from expense reporting tools and vendors, and perform research on the internet to validate the business reason for certain expenses. You'll seek clarifications from colleagues on expenses and be responsible for assessing the adherence to different office policies. 
You'll compile all the audit findings, compile reports to senior leadership, office finance, and may also provide supporting evidence of the findings if needed to human resources, legal, and Professional Standards Committee outlining the issue. You'll also suggest additional algorithms whenever required in the fraud detection models to enhance audit efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in fraud investigation, compliance, or audits 
  • CFE and knowledge of fraud detection & investigation will be an added advantage
  • Sound understanding of audit theories, principles, and practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to forecast challenges
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and to make sound judgments 
  • Proven track record of meeting demanding timelines
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
