We are strengthening our risk management teams, capabilities, and processes as part of our ambition to lead our industry and we have recruited some of the world’s best talent to help. Among other enhancements, we introduced an industry-leading client service framework (CITIO), which helps us vet each new client and guides our approach to engagements. Our commitment extends to our suppliers and internal systems, where we have improved cybersecurity controls, data and document retention, and process management.
This role reports directly to the Director of Ethics and will preferably be based out of one of our US hubs, with other US and global locations considered.

What You'll Do

You will play a key role in building and driving our firm-wide ethics program by overseeing strategic, operational, and organizational initiatives for the Ethics pillar.
Since 2015, we have more than quintupled the combined size of our internal risk, legal, ethics and compliance functions by adding senior executive professionals with strong, diverse background and external experiences. We are continually improving these processes and capabilities, which includes this ethics role. As part of the role, you will ensure holistic ethics global programming and communication of the firm’s values, and you will work directly with global People, Risk, Compliance, and Legal colleagues to embed a consistent and resonant approach across our firm.
You will have responsibility to keep the firm’s code of conduct relevant and evergreen, creating integrity and leadership training content, creating and maintaining a personal conflicts of interest program, and managing any attendant technologies and vendors. You will assist in the design and implementation of the holistic program to infuse ethics into the fabric of the firm. This role will also support the implementation of existing and future conflicts of interest and speak up programs and ethics related regulatory mandates.
You will also be expected to identify and leverage internal and external data and emerging trends to develop insights and compelling recommendations for our program to infuse a culture of ethics across all communications, artifacts, meetings-in-a-box, and colleague lifecycle processes. You will also leverage your expertise to drive content recommendations for changes to firm policies, standards and training based upon the insights you gain from data, benchmarking, and academic theories (including but not limited to behavioral economics, nudge theory, and psychological safety).
You will develop solutions tailored to the unique needs of our firm and the expectations of regulators, and you will be expected to collaborate and align a varied set of stakeholders across all firm functions on the programmatic needs of the firm while also being a pivotal contributor to the overall change management process. You will effectively operationalize priorities across stakeholders to drive impact and develop and communicate a compelling vision and inspire others to action.
You will be given latitude to drive and own relevant organizational, operational, or strategic ethics initiatives and engage in collaborative partnership with other Ethics & Compliance colleagues and stakeholders.
