Junior Service Solution Engineer (focus on ServiceNow Automation)

Who You'll Work With

In this junior role, you will have the opportunity to work within our Proactive & Automation team, which is a part of our internal technology services function. This team works closely with other architects, developers, and stakeholders within our internal technology ecosystem.
The Proactive & Automation team is responsible for engineering work that enables high efficiency technology support services. It drives and implements internal developments and act as the product owner for various internal solution offerings.
You will join our office in Prague or San Jose.

What You'll Do

As a junior team member, your main focus will be on contributing to digital internal services across the firm's technology support function. This will involve optimizing performance, driving efficiencies through automation, and creating a modern, consistent, and integrated experience for support staff and end user colleagues as they interact with internal services.
Your responsibilities will include developing and supporting global and scoped applications on top of our service management platform, ServiceNow. You will have the opportunity to create innovative applications and high-quality solutions.
In this role, you will collaborate with our world-class engineering and support teams to enable and enhance digital processes. You will work closely with our architects, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the success and seamless integration of our solutions into the support landscape.


  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent practical experience, with at least 2 years of software development experience focusing on web technologies of which at least 1 year building applications on ServiceNow, including expertise in integrating systems using Web Services and APIs
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities, such as Flow Designer, UI Builder, ACLs, and scoped applications
  • Proficiency in full-stack technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience implementing responsive Single Page Applications using frameworks like TypeScript, AngularJS, React, Redux, or Bootstrap, is highly desired
  • Strong skills in data manipulation and working with both relational and non-relational databases
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
  • Comfortable when working in a team-oriented, agile, and highly collaborative environment
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies
