You will be part of McKinsey’s Ethics and Compliance group, whose mission is to drive holistic trust, protect our firm while enabling impact, and support our colleagues to serve with the highest integrity. The Ethics and Compliance group is a globally integrated team within the second line of defense of the firm.
You will report to the Director of Client Service Compliance (CSC) Monitoring and will be based in North America.

What You'll Do

You will play a key role in developing firm-wide Ethics and Compliance capabilities by assisting in building and implementing a comprehensive monitoring program that evaluates compliance of Client Service Policy and related standards.
You will be instrumental in overseeing the sample selection process, conducting testing, assessing non-compliance with firm requirements, and supporting with remediation efforts. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the CSC Monitoring program within at least one region.
You will work closely with the Monitoring and Response team, firm Risk and firm Legal to ensure cross-functional communication as it relates to CSC monitoring results and overall efforts. Your role will be a key contributor to developing solutions tailored for the unique needs of our firm, and you will be expected to collaborate with a varied set of stakeholders across all firm functions on the programmatic needs of the firm while also being a pivotal contributor to the overall change management process.
You will serve a sound advisor to the Director of CSC Monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree or certifications preferred (e.g. JD or CPA)
  • 7+ years of professional experience in risk, ethics, compliance and/or governance in a large organization
  • 4+ years developing or driving compliance monitoring programs or related controls or governance frameworks
  • Highly effective communicator with strong personal presence and credibility; adept at influencing and engaging with all types of audiences to cultivate trust-based, peer-counselor relationships
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive and ownership mentality to progress on ambiguous problems and see them through to resolution
  • Passion for people development and experienced people leader; carries a demonstrated track record of enabling a collaborative, respectful, and inclusive environment for all colleagues
  • Experience working in highly dynamic cross-functional and global teams
  • Experience implementing new programs or new compliance processes

A reasonable estimate of the range for new joiners for this role in the United States is $152,300 - $223,300. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to an individual's assigned office location, experience and expertise. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey’s discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
