Who You'll Work With

You will be based in our Rome or Milan office and you will report directly to the Social, Healthcare, and Public Entities (SHaPE) Europe proposal team lead with oversight from the regional client development leader. You will join our enthusiastic and driven global SHaPE practice team and network of proposal professionals. You will engage with client service teams and client activation function team to co-create proposals and supporting materials, including owning RFP answers and running tailored analysis. You will ensure positive client and client service team experience, using best practice resources.

What You'll Do

You will play a key role in tender management and support, driving end-to-end tender documentation development for Public Sector clients in Italy (80%), and creating and maintaining a library of relevant proposal materials (20%).
In your role, you will deal with the management/request of all the documentation necessary for participating to Public tenders such as European Single Procurement Document fulfillment, criminal records, excerpts from the Chamber of Commerce.
Furthermore, you will be making, renewing, and updating qualifications as a supplier on the Public Administration's portal or on the portal of companies subject to public procurement rules and interact with the Public Administration in case of submission of “chiarimenti” or in case of queries by the PA.
You will be collaborating with internal functions such as Legal and Finance, working with Legal for all the legal documentation and with Finance for issuing guarantees and revenue statements.
You will embed within client service teams to learn about client context.
You will collate and package off-the-shelf/standard content and tailor it to fit the client context (i.e. qualifications, declarations, CVs); to bring the best of the firm’s broader capabilities and expertise into tender documentation.
You will help client service teams to navigate tender processes and implement best practices.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree required 
  • 5+ years of experience in end-to-end public sector tender management for the public sector in Italy; preference for experience at large professional services firms 
  • Extensive experience with complex Italian public sector or healthcare procurement processes and tenders
  • Experience with entire tender development process, including the demonstrated ability to produce compliant, responsive, and compelling documentation
  • Ability to interact collaboratively with consultants, forging effective relationships across our client service teams 
  • Ability to work with subject matter experts and leadership to develop non-technical sections of the tender documentation/content including past performance, staffing, resumes, and executive summary 
  • Ability to complete tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-drive environment
  • Superb organizational, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Power user with deep proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel as well as Adobe Acrobat
