Who You'll Work With

You will join our office in Gurgaon or Chennai. You will work with colleagues in the Finance Technology function, playing an active role in our finance data strategy.
This role will support the Master Data for O2C/P2P/R2R as a product initiative. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues across the firm functions landscape with exposure to many paths in our firm including finance data stakeholders, SLC stakeholders, Procurement & Human Resources. 

What You'll Do

You will be an important part of our Finance Data as a Product initiative, driving operational excellence of data architecture and stewardship. In this role you will align with function leaders on data requirements, make master data configuration decisions, and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on best practices in adopting SAP Data solutions.
An important aspect of this role is creating solutions that align with the functional business process and managing the data operations to support the goals of the business.
You will provide expertise in identifying the relevant master and transactional data required to support business processes, operational insights, and analytics.
You will explore and understand Finance Data landscape – key data domains, critical data elements, business rules, source systems and serve as a steward to ensure integrity of important data integrations. You will focus on understanding user personas, conducting use research, define data security controls.

Qualifications

  • University degree required: business, information systems, IT preferred
  • 7+ years of professional work experience in any of the SAP Modules (O2C, P2P, R2R, H2R)
  • Strong understanding on different upload methods; LTMC, LSMW, BDC, BAPI Uploads, SFTP process and Z programs for data management and process
  • Experience in Master Data management on Material Master, Business Partner/Customer/Vendor master, Pricing & taxation, Output Types
  • Hands on experience on configurations
  • 3+ years of experience in SAP S/4 HANA 
  • Should have minimum 2-3 E2E Implementation experience out of which one should be in SAP S/4 HANA. 
  • Should have worked on the support projects where candidate have worked on ticket/incident management, demands, managed SLA’s, management reporting, requirement gathering and stake holder management
  • Ability to represent McKinsey professionally with third parties
  • A distinctive working knowledge of finance and data processes
  • Ability to manage and support the professional development of high performing individuals
  • Results-driven with strong attention to the details
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills within functional and technical areas
