Asset Leader, Insurance (German Speaker) - McKinsey Solutions Finalta
Who You'll Work With
You'll be based in Frankfurt as part of our Finalta Insurance team.
You will be a part of the senior Finalta leadership team and contribute to developing, growing and managing the region.
Travel is required for client specific meetings but does not involve long periods working on site with clients.
What You'll Do
You will focus on 3 main elements: client delivery, commercial accountability, and management and leadership.
In this role, you will advise to C-suite execs and board members in client organizations. You will lead the insurance benchmarking team throughout the research and delivery process: leading the creation of compelling data-driven insights and original thinking that helps clients to maximize their performance, presenting key findings to senior management and board level clients to get their buy-in and help translate the results into action plans, supervising the smooth running of our benchmarking projects to ensure that they are completed on time and on quality, and deliver a good client experience.
You will be responsible for both, managing and developing an existing client portfolio, and developing relationships with new clients to grow your portfolio. You will lead client pitches, proposal writing, pipeline management, and contract negotiations working alongside McKinsey partners and Finalta directors.
You will manage key client relationships throughout and beyond the benchmarking cycle to ensure maximum satisfaction and relationship development.

Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in analytics or strategy roles within financial services or insurance
- Proven client business development/sales experience
- Exceptional analytical abilities and insight generation
- Effective project management skills in a consulting/research based environment
- Passion for managing, developing and inspiring teams
- Ability to build advisor relationships with C-suite and board member clients
- Fluency in English and German mandatory
