Solution Delivery Intern

You will be based in our Wroclaw office as part of our Orpheus team within our Client Capabilities Network (CCN).

Our more than 2,500 client capabilities professionals across the globe work alongside our consultants to deliver Change that Matters to our clients. They support our consultant teams, both remotely and at client sites, in an agile and targeted way. Further, they are core to our firm’s R&D, developing new knowledge and building and refining proprietary capabilities (e.g. assets, data sets), as well as curating, managing, and maintaining them. Our portfolio includes state-of-the-art research, asset-backed and rapid diagnostics, benchmarking, and workflow support. Our professionals have deep expertise and are able to apply a broad range of methodologies for specialized on-demand analyses.

You will drive categorization and supplier line of business identification for raw spend data grouping. You will also take an active role in refinement workshops with our clients, improving the overall degree of spend allocation. In addition, you will contribute to the development of the next generation of our categorization quality tool and will get the opportunity to become familiar with our BI reporting application.

In this role, you will bring in knowledge and interpret research findings using the Spendscape tools and techniques that are unique to McKinsey. You’ll collaborate and actively contribute to the workflow/activities within the team, both internally as well as our clients. By contributing to the internal development of our tools, you will also help to lift the quality of our delivery to the next level. The position enables you to develop an understanding of procurement processes, analytics as well as technical skills.

This internship program will enhance your professional and personal development through mentoring and coaching sessions with tenured colleagues. The internship will last up to 12 months with a minimum of 25 work hours per week. You will have the opportunity for a permanent role depending on the success of your internship.
