Senior Product Reliability Engineer

Who You'll Work With

You’ll be a member of an IT team based in Washington D.C., Boston or Atlanta and part of our Secure Foundations function within the Tech Ecosystem.
This team owns and manages a new Cloud environment for users based in Washington, DC, and throughout the United States. You will work closely with McKinsey leadership, various technology teams across the firm, and third-party IT vendors.

What You'll Do

You will be a key member of team responsible for ongoing support, design, and information security of a dynamic Cloud environment hosted in Microsoft Azure.
This includes designing and implementing new technology components, conducting system maintenance and administration of core infrastructure and performing continuous monitoring.
In this role, you will be responsible for gathering user requirements and leading the development and integration of these requirements into the environment, ensuring overall compliance. You’ll have the opportunity to gain new skills on a brand new technology solution, while building on existing strengths.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent technical or military experience
  • US citizenship is mandatory
  • 5+ years of IT technical design and implementation experience
  • Understanding of following technologies: Microsoft Azure Cloud, O365, Azure Active Directory, Firewalls (Palo Alto), Citrix, DLP, SEIM, Mobile device management (iOS), Antivirus (AV) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), System monitoring tools, building and updating images (Laptops, VDI), managing mobile iOS devices via MDM, and scripting, automation and API coding
  • Basic understanding of information security and general compliance related activities
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks preferred

A reasonable estimate of the range for new joiners for this role in the United States is $136,900 - $174,700. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey�s discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
