Who You'll Work With

You will be based in our Atlanta, GA office and support its Litigation & Investigations legal team.

What You'll Do

You will provide support on litigation matters (litigation holds, subpoena responses, document collection, discovery organization and productions), investigations.
This will involve managing all Discovery obligations for firm including preservation, collection and production preparation including managing technical/IT team’s support of eDiscovery process, database management and tracking for various litigations/investigations and team administration, having the ability to shift daily priorities to handle urgent matters.
You will navigate the firm in order to gather, preserve, export and monitor the data we need to comply with eDiscovery requests and have the ability to sense check collections and promptly raise issues/concerns. You will also manage multiple projects simultaneously with internal & external stakeholders.
While the work will heavily focus on US matters, our work spans the globe and thus, being sensitive to navigating different cultures and being a strong communicator are important elements of this role.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience as a litigation paralegal
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Relativity, Summation, Concordance (or similar eDiscovery tools); experience with PACER
  • Experience with e-discovery vendors, and tools
  • Experience with drafting court documents (formatting case captions, identifying applicable General Objections, and drafting Responses to Document Production Requests) a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with strong ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Proactive, able to cope with pressure, flexible, and client-service-oriented
  • Confident team player who is communicative and collaborative
  • Self-directed and discreet
  • Research skills
  • Takes initiative to develop own relationships and network
  • Attention to detail; tenacious in following up
  • Ability to build, implement and maintain tracking systems
