Qualifications
- Advanced degree in operations management, statistics, or industrial engineering, with a strong quantitative underpinning and an outstanding academic record
- 7+ years of relevant experience in a consulting / analytics firm; background in solving complex logistics, supply chain network problems in the CPG, Automotive, Electronics or Metals & Mining industries
- Demonstrated record of delivering impact through industry knowledge, tools and modeling technique
- Experience in transportation, warehousing and network modeling / design
- Expert level skills in Excel; Mid / expert level skills in Tableau / Power BI and ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx/ KNIME)
- Experience in end-to-end supply chain network modelling with one or more industry standard tools (e.g., Coupa / LLamasoft SC Guru, IBM LogicNet Plus, AIMMS, Riverlogic etc.)
- Experience in Transport Management Solutions and Digital Logistics Control Tower modules of advanced supply chain solutions
- Exposure to transport and warehouse clean sheet
- Specific exposure to multiple aspects of network optimization like scenario design, 3PL logistics market, automation technologies, demand and inventory planning, production scheduling, supply chain organization structure and supply chain IT etc.
- Ability to lead a team of analysts to solve multiple supply chain network & planning problems
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight deadlines
- Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, interact effectively with members from all levels in McKinsey and client organizations, with skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Must be open to 50% Travel

Factors like your office location, your unique blend of experience and skills, start date and our current organizational needs all play a part in determining the final figure. Certain roles are also eligible for bonuses, subject to McKinsey's discretion and based on factors such as individual and/or organizational performance.
