Expert Associate Partner - Life Sciences Practice, MedTech Focus

Who You'll Work With

You will be based in our New York or New Jersey office as part of our broader Life Sciences Practice, working with our MedTech team. You will typically lead multiple teams of 3–5 consultants and will help our clients in MedTech and BioPharma solve some of their most pressing problems.
You will work with a range of experts in the firm, from business analysts to senior partners.

What You'll Do

You will provide your knowledge and expertise to top managers at client organizations.
In this role you will have the opportunity to be an entrepreneur, identifying new opportunities to help clients make lasting improvements to their performance and realize their most important goals.
You will coach, lead, and advise consultants as they develop, framing business problems in a way that they can take action to solve. You will join teams in problem solving sessions and be a thought partner to engagement managers on both team and client management.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree required, master’s degree in business, medicine, public health or related disciplines preferred
  • Prior experience as a consultant in a professional services firm preferred
  • Prior experience in MedTech or Pharma preferred
  • 8+ years of work experience after graduate school, focused in medicine, pharm, or life sciences
  • Entrepreneurial drive to develop new client relationships and generate business development opportunities
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to break down and solve business problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
  • Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
  • Publication of knowledge or thought leadership in your industry space is a plus
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and the local office language(s)
