Do you want to do work that matters, alongside supportive leaders who will help you grow faster than you ever thought possible? Are you a creative problem-solver who is energized by challenges? You’ve come to the right place.

Who You'll Work With

You will be based in San Jose, Costa Rica, as part of our Social sector, Healthcare, and Public sector Entities (SHaPE) team.
The SHaPE practice is one of 10 industry practices within the firm and has a mission of measurably improving individuals’ lives, livelihoods and health and creating safer and more just communities around the world. You’ll work with our analytics team alongside data scientists, experts, consultants and clients on projects that use complex data and advanced modeling to solve client problems and deliver significant measurable impact.
We have the freedom to try new ideas, experiment and are expected to be constantly learning and growing. You'll be based in Costa Rica, but collaborate with our Healthcare Analytics teams across North America in different time zones.

Your impact within our firm

You will be actively engaged with front-line client teams involved in helping hospitals implement operational improvements and organizational enhancements that boost cost effectiveness and improve
quality of care for patients.
You will leverage your expertise to take ownership of tenure-appropriate client relationships and guide clients through appropriate syndication discussions as well as longer-term frontline implementation projects and other responsibilities.
You will be responsible for coding and testing tools and assets to deliver high quality analytics to our customers.
You will also perform the transformation, filtering, and aggregation of raw data into concise, accurate, and focused data marts or client specific data models. Analysts may also be responsible for data-intensive ad hoc analytics, including novel analytics for which tools are not sufficiently push button.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills to quickly process complex information and present it clearly and simply during change transformation efforts with clients
  • Strong modelling and analytical Excel skills
  • Interest in analytics and change management with a passion to learn more about how to improve the way hospitals source and manage external spend areas (e.g., purchased services)

  • Ability to translate business requirements and excellent time management skills (manage estimated workload according to scope)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Healthcare domain knowledge not required, but interest in healthcare appreciated
