The Analyst will support the Partner Capital vertical of the Firm Treasury group, managing monthly, quarterly, and yearly activities, including documentation, financial settlements, and compliance.

Who You'll Work With

You will be part of Firm Treasury’s Partner Capital team’s based at our Tampa McKinsey Center.
As a Treasury Analyst you will be responsible of managing Partner Capital activities which includes the investment commitments settlement, supporting compliance and financial activities, establishing new changes, developing system capabilities, supporting various adhoc time bound request from various stakeholders across the firm, like legal, compliance, compensation, controllership, accounting, tax, audit, etc.

Your impact within our firm

You will assist Partners with documentation for capital requirements during elections, hiring, or departures, and monitor and lead capital settlements within specified time frames.
You will manage the end-to-end loan program for Partners, coordinating closely with banks. You will monitor and report on the loan program monthly, ensuring accurate maintenance of tools and applications for effective reporting. You will assist with month-end close accounting, balance sheet reconciliation, and reviews. You will ensure end-to-end testing of any system changes needed from time to time. You will ensure issuance of all tax documentation to Partners for personal compliance. You will conduct analytical reviews of submitted information for accounting, seeking explanations and closing loops as necessary.
You will enhance and develop methods to track and improve current processes, mitigating risks to the firm and Partners. You will develop and implement a robust risk and control framework. You will provide relevant information for financial statement preparation, including capital-related data and adjustments. You will coordinate internal and external audit requests. You will maintain close interactions with other departments, providing significant financial inputs and guidance. You will be flexible to work on any project assigned by Finance leadership.

Your qualifications and skills

  • 4-year university degree, preferably in business or finance, MBA
  • 4+ years of professional experience in treasury or finance with a focus on demonstrating teamwork, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with data management, programming skills (Visual Basic), and reporting tools (Power BI, Knime, Power Automate) is advantageous
  • Proactive, diligent, and able to maintain data confidentiality; strong customer service orientation
  • Strong people management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to assess a situation and know when to bring other stakeholders in
  • Self-starter and project management skills
