Your qualifications and skills
- Undergraduate degree; advanced degree is a plus, ideally in a quantitative discipline (statistics, mathematics, economics, operations research, engineering, computer science) or a healthcare discipline
- 4+ years of professional experience in a healthcare environment with end-to-end revenue cycle transformation experience, including patient access, coding, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), billing, A/R management, and related IT systems
- History and/or exposure to managing projects or programs that significantly improved revenue cycle performance, e.g., improved patient collections, reduced denial write-offs, increased accuracy of clinical documentation and coding, accelerated back-end cash collections, etc.
- Familiarity with revenue cycle technology assets and concepts, e.g., point solutions and data interchange, ideally with exposure to product development or implementation
- Enthusiasm for intensely analytical work
- Understanding of statistical and advanced analytics methods, e.g., descriptive statistics, predictive analytics, and machine learning
- Experience sharing your views and perspectives with senior clients and colleagues
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
