You’ll work with the Lilli team focused on our internal firm GenAI initiatives. Lilli is McKinsey’s leading generative AI tool & platform for employees. Our team is distributed across multiple locations, including offices in North America and Europe.
The Lilli team is dedicated to advancing the capabilities and applications of Generative AI within our firm, driving innovation, and delivering impactful AI solutions.
Your impact within our firm
We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst with product/service/project/program management and software development experience, to drive impact through discovery, translating technical concepts into product requirements to ensure delivery and rollout of features that solve critical user needs. With help of other team members and teams, you will support the product vision and roadmap and contribute to driving the success of our Generative AI initiatives.
You’ll be a member of a global team working on a prioritized GenAI initiative, based in one of our European offices: Prague or Lisbon. Our McKinsey’s Tech Ecosystem function is responsible for developing and delivering all technology solutions for the firm’s internal use.
You’ll help drive the success of a GenAI product that has company-wide impact. As part of the product team you will sit at business side and work closely with tech to ensure the right things are built and work with supporting teams so that impact is maximized.
As a Senior Product Analyst, you will implement the product vision and roadmap, regularly groom the backlog and write user stories. Collaborating with development and data science teams, you will refine these stories and evolve the solution, support conducting agile ceremonies.
Engaging with users for feedback and user research will be essential to enhancing user experience as well as leveraging data and user insights to turn into product strategy and requirements together in collaboration with a senior product manager.
You will support the definition, execution, and rollout and monitoring of a subset of features in one domain, in close collaboration with the principal product manager, designers, and engineers, analytics teams as well as our adoption team. You will anticipate opportunities and challenges, guiding the team and leadership in addressing them proactively.
Your role includes supporting gathering of business requirements, leading agile development, and support managing backlog grooming and prioritization. You’ll work with technical teams on a daily basis on the development of necessary features. A technical understanding of AI and ML products is preferred.
Prototyping, testing, and visualizing product features with designers will be part of your daily tasks. Ensuring that each feature meets its acceptance criteria will be a key responsibility, driving the success of our Generative AI initiatives. You’ll support more senior product managers on your team with a variety of tasks under their guidance.
Your qualifications and skills
- 2+ years of product owner experience with strong product management toolkit, effectively working with cross-functional teams in an agile set-up across the full product development lifecycle
- Prior experience in building products and driving impact with AI and/or Generative AI space, contributing from strategy to delivery (preferred)
- Proven track-record of successfully delivering impact under guidance by identifying user needs, translating this into scoped product requirements / user stories / tickets, working with JIRA (or equivalent tools), support running agile ceremonies and collaborating with technical teams ensuring feature delivery and bug fixes
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and navigating complex, rapidly changing AI landscapes; consulting experience is valued
- Strong team player, entrepreneurial, ownership and execution mindset working side by side with peers to deliver business outcomes
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving & structuring skills with ability to translate technical concepts, user analytics and user pain points into product requirements; a technical understanding of AI and ML products is preferred
- Some flexibility in working hours is required to accommodate different time zones as well as up to 5-10% international travel required due to the geographic dispersion of the team
