Your Impact

Your role will be providing leadership & support for the firm’s security activities in Latam. This includes the management of incidents, security personnel and systems.
Fostering security and resilience will be at the core of your role, implementing and sometimes designing and managing programs related to security, emergency preparedness and crisis management. This role is cross-functional and requires deep collaboration and influencing ability with internal stakeholders as well as external partners.
You will work from Latin America and report to the Manager of Security Operations and Resilience - Latam. Extensive liaison will also be required with the entire Firm Security Team.
The Firm Security Team is responsible for safeguarding the wellbeing and security of our colleagues across all four core Firm Contexts: Workplaces, Events, Studies and Travel.

Your Growth

You will work closely with the Manager of Security Operations and Resilience -Latam and advise on security activities and incident management for McKinsey locations in Latin America fostering a culture of safety and security at our offices and centers.
Routinely, you will partner with respective office and center leadership ensuring that offices and centers have well maintained security, safety and incident management programs.
Responsibilities in each of these programs will include:
Analyst
  • Responsible for tracking high risk area travel and maintaining connectivity with study teams.
  • Creating & maintaining Travel Safety Protocols (risk mitigation plans) and supporting studies/travelers with logistics options (hotel, transport, medical, security)
  • Monitoring and supporting incident threats and independently providing threat assessments on complex issues and incidents
  • Triaging incoming questions for colleagues and sometime incidents
  • Maintaining and ensuring data quality in ticketing systems
Physical security
  • Responsible for protection of company assets, personnel and information
  • Implement physical security measures, processes and solutions to protect Firm’s assets, including property, people, and information
  • Monitor potential disruptive events, weather conditions and incidents
  • Liaise with local law enforcement and regulatory authorities, as required
Resilience and Incident management
  • Provide support and subject matter expertise to local office and center leadership during incidents in your area of responsibility and support for incidents in other areas in India
  • For centers and offices in your area of responsibility ensure that, incident management & emergency preparedness protocols are in place and updated.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Relevant years of previous work experience in security
  • Bachelor level degree
  • Good command of English language (Additional language skills are advantageous)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills: strong drafting skills, good self- editing
  • Excellent task tracking – able to drive projects from beginning to end
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when incidents are in progress
  • Problem solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Outstanding service attitude and high level of professionalism
  • Strong team player but able to work independently
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
